To celebrate the Dublin Theatre Festival, which runs from 29th September to 16th October 2016, we're giving two lucky readers the opportunity to catch one of the festival's hot tickets

DTF 2016 opens at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre with a fresh new production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, from Lyric Hammersmith and Filter Theatre (UK).

In the 400th anniversary year of Shakespeare’s death, this is a gleefully mischievous take on The Bard’s best-loved comedy with spontaneous bursts of song and lycra-clad superheroes, Nerf guns and an epic food fight. The furious physical comedy is matched with an equally electrifying soundscape with a live band who exuberantly channel Barry White and The Ramones, from doo-wop to grunge and a tiny orchestra of electronic tweets, buzzes and magical trills.

We're talking about a dazzlingly anarchic Dream for our times, raucous and irreverent and bursting with life.

We're giving away 2 X pairs of tickets to see A Midsummer Night's Dream. To be in with a chance, simply follow us on Twitter via @RTE_Culture and tell us this: who wrote the play? Send us your answer along with the hashtag #RTEdtf before 6pm on Friday evening. Get cracking and the very best of luck!
