Undervalued asset Whelan will bolster Ireland set-up
It may only be an interim arrangement, but Eoin Doyle regards Brian Kerr's and Glenn Whelan's involvement in the Republic of Ireland set-up as a major positive, going so far as to describe Whelan as "the most underappreciated asset Irish football has had over the last couple of decades".
