The Irish Republican Army (IRA) have said they planted the bomb that killed a senior Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) officer in Lisburn this morning. The device went off as Superintendent Alwyn Harris was preparing to drive to church with his wife. He was an RUC Sub-divisional Commander, based in Newcastle, Down.
