Commemorating Constance Markievicz

Events have been taking place to mark the 90th anniversary of the death of Constance Markievicz, who fought in the 1916 Rising and became the first female government minister in Ireland. Her achievements were celebrated at a ceremony at her childhood home, Lissadell House, in Sligo on Saturday 15 July.
