Tonight will be cloudy with further outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The rain will become patchier later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees with light or moderate southeast to easterly winds backing northeasterly overnight.
Tomorrow
It will be a cloudy start to tomorrow, Sunday, with some patchy light rain and drizzle but this will clear away during the morning. The cloud will gradually break up as the day progresses with good sunny spells and some isolated showers developing in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees, but feeling a little cooler in the northerly breeze.

Sunny spells and some scattered showers in parts this afternoon, but cloud will build from the southwest with rain in the southwest moving into other southern counties.
Tonight
Staying mainly dry in the north and northwest tonight, aside from a few showers. Outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading over most other areas. Winds will be mainly light or moderate northeast, stronger at times near the southwest and south coast. It will be a rather cool night too with lows of 2 to 6 degrees.
Tomorrow
A cloudy start with some showers about in a cool northerly breeze. The showers will become isolated during the afternoon with some good sunny spells developing. Highest temperatures ranging from 6 to 8 degrees in the north but a milder 10 to 12 degrees in the south.
Outlook
Sunday Night: Any showers will clear away with long clear and dry spells developing. Winds will fall light and temperatures will fall widely below freezing with -1 to -3 degrees. Frost and icy patches expected overnight in central and northern areas but it will stay a touch milder over Munster with temperatures staying just above freezing. Monday: A mostly clear and dry start but cloud will build later in the morning with a few showers for southern areas. Staying largely dry elsewhere with light winds. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees, Monday Night: Staying clear and dry for most during the evening but cloud will build from the west ahead of a band of rain which will move over western counties overnight. Winds will increase to a more moderate southerly with overnight lows of 4 to 8 degrees. Tuesday: Cloudy with widespread rain during the morning gradually easing to scattered showers from the afternoon. Fresh and blustery southerly winds will veer southwesterly as the rain clears with highs of 13 to 16 degrees. Tuesday Night: A blustery night with scattered showers slowly clearing. Dry and clearer spells developing in the south overnight before another band of rain moves over around dawn. A mild night with lows of 8 to 10 degrees. Wednesday: Another wet day with scattered blustery showers or longer spells of rain. Staying mild with highs of 13 to 16 degrees and moderate southwesterly winds.

Another low pressure centre of 997hPa, to the southwest of Ireland, will track across southern parts of the country tonight and will be followed by a northeasterly airflow later.
Forecast for Irish coastal waters from Rossan Point to Fair Head to Howth Head and for the North Irish Sea.
Wind: Westerly force 3 to 5, easing variable force 3 or less imminent. Soon becoming east to southeasterly force 3 to 5. Later increasing easterly force 5 or 6. Moderating northeast force 4 to 5 by the end of the period.
Weather: Scattered showers, prolonged in northeast. Mostly fair soon. Fair to cloudy for a time later with patchy rain.
