I’m Not Ordinary

This is a recent self portrait of me. My mask hides part of my face and in doing so also hides part of my personality. Although I have chosen symbols taken from both sides of my family crest as the backdrop to my drawing, I still feel part of me looks like an ordinary school going student when in fact I want to scream ‘I’m Not Ordinary’!!!! I’m happy that my eyes in the portrait are open and wide as I feel they are the real connection with the viewer.
