My Old Friend

Rue is my oldest dog. The first dog I ever had. She is the best dog anyone could ask for. She’s kind and caring and so cuddly! As she’s getting older, normal everyday things are getting harder and harder for her to do, so, I wanted to capture her in a painting, so I could have it forever, as though she’s always with me. I painted 3 photos capturing her most prominent traits. Painting number one is Rue In Blue. This painting captures her downtime, where she likes to lounge around a lot. Next is Rue in Colour. This painting shows rue in her playful moments. And finally Normal Rue, this is just rue being her perfect self, always and forever with her head up and her nose sniffing the finest smells the world has to offer and of course rue looking so graceful.
