The Palace in the Clouds

This painting is how I imagine one of the scenes from the novel I am writing. It is of a palace in the clouds, inhabited by a race of creatures called the Aurae. The Aurae are beings of feather and flight, all bound up with glowing energy. They read the stars, and they possess all the knowledge and wisdom in all the realms. Here an Aurae flies back to the palace beneath the moons and the northern lights.
