Something I wanted my art to portray was that throughout history humans have always been making art. I liked to show this using modern photography as the background, and by doing a drawing of a bust of the ancient Greek god Hermes. The piece combines several forms of art; photography, drawing, sculpting and writing. The title of this work draws together both Hermes role as the messenger god and there are always better words that can be used to describe sad.
