Flesh Bowl

For my art piece I took an ordinary thing, a fruit bowl, and changed it into something extraordinary.
I used many techniques to bring my fruit bowl to life and make it extraordinary, such as sketching, adding texture with coloured pencils, water colours and highlighters to make my fruit pop. I made them wacky to represent the more interesting and wacky side of life.
I wanted my art piece to be unsettling and somewhat creepy, hence the colours I used, the hidden eyes and various creatures.
By the way, that guy in the corner is Barry B. Benson the berry bowl.
