This is a portrait of Mayo player Padraig O’Hora, after winning the All Ireland Semi-Final last year. He said a speech after the match which showed how extraordinary both the Mayo players and fans really are. I wanted to paint this because it was an extraordinary match and marked a new chapter in gaelic football.
