Our work of art is based on the permafrost. The reason we based our art piece on permafrost is because it’s melting and it’s becoming the biggest problem that our generation will have to tackle next with climate change. Therefore we would like to raise awareness on this topic through our art piece. The base of our piece represents the rising sea levels of our oceans as the permafrost melts. We made the top using recycled plastic and fabric. It presents the permafrost on its tipping point.
