Jamie Dornan has revealed that he would repeatedly apologise to his female co-stars while filming The Fall because he felt guilty for having to act so creepily.

The star, who plays a serial killer on the show, told Graham Norton, "I was doing the creepiest things imaginable so I kept apologising to them. It wasn't easy for them and I was very aware of how hard it was so I kept saying sorry during horrible scenes."

He added, "It's a brutal head space to maintain so I made a point of getting out of character – I definitely didn't want to take him home!"

Dornan has just finished filming Fifty Shades of Grey, in which he plays the leading role of Christian Grey. The film is set for release on Valentine's Day weekend 2015.
