Cowell: minted in more ways than one

Actor David Walliams reportedly stepped in to perform the Heimlich manoeuvre on Simon Cowell after the music mogul started choking on a mint on the set of the new series of Britain's Got Talent.

According to a report on Heatworld.com, Walliams, Cowell, and fellow judges Amanda Holden and eighties pop siren Sinitta were passing judgement on a contestant when Cowell started choking on the mint.

A source told The Sun: "As soon as David noticed Simon was in trouble he leapt up from his chair. He put his all into giving him the Heimlich manoeuvre, but seemed to be enjoying it a little too much."

Heatworld.com adds: "This comes after Simon got involved with an 11-year-old's knife throwing act and came close to being injured."
