Arnold Schwarzenegger wants to run for the United States presidency in 2016 according to a report.
The 66-year-old action star was born in Austria and is fighting to change the law so that a non-American-born citizen can run for the presidency.
A source told the New York Post, “Schwarzenegger has been talking openly about working on getting the constitutional rules changed so he can run for president in 2016. He is ready to file legal paperwork to change the rules.”
The Terminator star, and former Governor of California, became a US citizen in 1983 and if his campaign to have the constitution amended he could go forward on the campaign trail.
