Homeland star Damian Lewis is afraid that his character Brody will be killed off the show.

Lewis told The Guardian: “You have to sign up for a long time, then they’ll kill you at their leisure. I think the writers are desperate to kill me. I’m a pain in their asses, because Brody is quite a difficult character to write.

“There’s a high head count on Homeland. Any one of us could get it at any point.”

You can catch new episodes of Homeland on RTÉ Two on Tuesday nights at 9pm.
