Jordan Egan's song Easy for an Angel track has climbed the iTunes chart after her appearance on Saturday Night with Miriam.
The 16-year-old suffers from a rare genetic disorder, Ehlers–Danlos syndrome (EDS), which means that she has a chronic headache and trouble with her heart.
Egan performed her song, Easy for an Angel, which her mother Karen wrote for her, on Miriam's show, leading it to climb from 76 to 4 on the iTunes charts that night.
All proceeds from the single, which is on sale for 99c on iTunes, go towards Egan's expensive medical treatment in London.
Miram said: “We received a huge response after Jordan’s appearance on the show on Saturday night. Her song Easy for an Angel really touched me and her reaction when she met her hero George Hook was a great moment.
"She is a truly remarkable and inspirational young woman - I felt incredibly privileged to have her on as one of my guests. Sometimes in life you come across people who are totally exceptional in every way - that is Jordan”.
