Take That singer Mark Owen will talk to Dave Fanning on RTÉ 2fm later this morning about his recent interaction with One Direction and the band's new studio album.
Owen is singing the praises of Mullingar native, Niall Horan who organised tickets for his family to see One Direction in the O2 Arena.
Speaking about Take That's next album, he said that they plan to return to the studio next January: "We’ll be going in to make a better record than we made last time”.
Tune into the Dave Fanning Show, this morning Saturday June 8, 10am to 12pm on RTÉ's 2fm or on the RTÉ Radio Player www.rte.ie/radioplayer or via the RTÉ Radio App on your mobile.
Owen will also be talking about how he finds his band mates “inspirational” and how Take That constantly push themselves as a group.
In addition he reveals how difficult he finds working as a solo artist and recording his album in what he calls “the rabbit hutch” in his own back garden.
