Owen's anger at Gary being revealed as his new site foreman leads him to do something he'll regret.
With Clive hell bent on making Owen's life miserable he pushes him too far. When Gary realises the effect his new job is having on Owen he blames himself. Phelan makes matters worse later in the week leaving Anna in a horrible position.
Tina is out for payback this week, and doesn't listen to Steph when she tells her to leave her affair with Peter in the past. When Carla and Peter come into the Rovers, Tina can't hide her scorn and it's a serious case of, 'If looks could kill'. Peter, concerned that she'll spill the beans to Carla, is relieved when Tina says she'll keep her mouth shut, but what else has she got up her sleeve?
Meanwhile, Marcus is treading dangerous water with Maria when he gets a call from Liam's childminder and insists that he'll collect him. Despite Todd's warnings that Maria won't be happy, Marcus picks him up anyway and as expected, Maria is fuming. Audrey gives her some wise words however, telling her to think about how all of the fighting will affect Liam, but with Marcus planning to move to London, it's a lot for her to process.
Andrea calls by The Rovers to work on a project with Steve but when he accuses her of having feelings for him she storms off in a huff. Later in the week he tries to make amends but of course, nothing ever runs smoothly in Weatherfield.
Sally and Tim are shocked when they learn how Maddie tricked them into letting her stay with them and when they tell her that she's no longer welcome in their home, Sophie makes a rash decision that sees her staying with Maddie in a hostel that proves to be very unsafe for the girls.
Elsewhere, Beth books herself in to see a plastic surgeon in the hopes of getting a breast enlargement much to Kirk's concern and Tyrone receives a phonecall to say that Kirsty has been let out of prison.
