This week in Summer Bay, Natalie and Zac begin a romantic relationship, while Brax promises to help Heath win back visitation with Darcy.
Zac and Natalie’s old spark is re-igniting as their friendship grows. He asks her out on a date, but Natalie is unsure whether they should pursue something. She’s hurt when she hears Brax has returned and not sought her out.
Meanwhile, Brax returns, determined to win back Natalie, but is distracted by putting out all of Heath’s fires. Heath is disappointed when Brax reverses all his changes. Bianca tells Brax he’d better see Natalie, since she thinks he’s deliberately avoided her. Brax heads off in search of her, only to see Natalie sharing a romantic kiss with Zac. He’s missed his chance and Natalie has moved on.
Elsewhere, Sheldon tries to tempt Celia into betting $7000 by telling her she could take the money they might win to Africa to help people in need. Marilyn overhears and is concerned. Alf counsels Celia to stay strong. She confides that she’s in love with Sheldon – but Alf is adamant that it can’t be love if he wants her to compromise everything she stands for.
Later in the week, fresh from seeing Natalie with Zac, Brax comes home only to hear there are more problems at Angelo’s. The next day Natalie and Zac have an awkward encounter with Brax. She confronts Brax about his behaviour, and he apologises but is evasive – he’s got to fix more problems caused by Heath. Brax is impressed by Kyle and his work after Liam vouches for him. Kyle stands up to Brax about being down on Heath - he tried his best when Brax unexpectedly took off – and while he was away Heath lost visitation rights to see Darcy.
