Ireland's Shane Ryan has claimed the gold medal in the final of the 100-metre backstroke at the Luxembourg Euro Meet.
The 22-year-old's victory was tempered by the fact that it came in a time of 54.70 seconds, which is outside the Olympic qualification time of 53.84 seconds.
Conor Ferguson was also among the medals in the 100m backstroke as he finished third to take bronze.
Limerick's Fiona Doyle remains the only Irish swimmer thus far who has guaranteed her place at the Rio Olympics.
There was further gold for the Irish as UCD's Alex Murphy, a European bronze medallist won the final of the men's 50-metre breaststroke, setting a new Meet record on the way to victory, winning in 27.61 seconds.
