Pat Fenlon’s Hibernian face either Aberdeen or Motherwell in the fifth round of the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Hibs, winless in the last 12 Edinburgh derbies, defeated rivals and cup holders Hearts 1-0 at Easter Road Stadium thanks to a late own goal to earn a place in today’s draw.
Hibs captain James McPake told his club's official website: "The draw could've maybe been a little kinder, but first and foremost it's a home tie and that's what we wanted.
"We will be up against another SPL club and it's a game that we will all be looking forward to."
Elsewhere, Rangers have been drawn away against Dundee United.
United knocked Rangers out of last season's tournament, days before the Ibrox oldco club went into administration.
Celtic face a trip to Raith Rovers, the team that shocked them in the 1994-95 League Cup final, should they get past Arbroath in a fourth-round replay.
