Arsenal have confirmed that Colombia goalkeeper David Ospina is to join the club.

The 25-year-old, who had an impressive World Cup as Colombia made it to the quarter-finals, joins the Gunner from French side Nice on a long-term deal for an undisclosed fee.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger told Arsenal's official website: "David Ospina is an excellent goalkeeper, with good experience and a proven record of performing with Nice and Colombia.

"He will add strength to our squad and we are very pleased that he will be joining us."

The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
