Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey has joined Ligue 1 club Nice on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old had played for Juventus since 2019, making 69 appearances for the Serie A side before being loaned to Rangers for the first six months of 2022.
Ramsey, who won three FA Cups in an eight-year spell with Arsenal, has earned 74 caps for Wales and remains the youngest man to have worn the captain's armband for his country, who are set to play in November's World Cup for the first time since 1958.
"A new chapter with Nice," he tweeted in French, before adding in English: "I can't wait to get started."
Ramsey's new contract follows news that his compatriot Joe Rodon joined Ligue 1 rivals Rennes on loan from Spurs, with the option to make the move permanent.
Joe Rodon has left Tottenham for Rennes on loan for the 2022-23 season, with an option to join the Ligue 1 side on a permanent basis.
The 24-year-old defender made nine appearances in all competitions for Spurs last campaign, and will look to earn more playing time with the French outfit ahead of Wales' historic World Cup appearance - their first since 1958.
The Swansea native was a critical cog in Wales' qualifying campaign and has earned 27 caps for his national side, who sealed their tickets to Qatar with a play-off victory over Ukraine in June.
Rodon has appeared 24 times for Spurs since joining from Swansea in October 2020 and will be familiar with his new club having played against them in the Europa Conference League last September.
Blackburn have signed highly-rated Liverpool teenager Tyler Morton on a season-long loan.
The England Under-20 midfielder, 19, becomes Rovers' second signing of the summer following the arrival of full-back Callum Brittain from Barnsley.
Morton, who signed a long-term deal at Anfield in January 2021, made his senior Liverpool debut against Norwich in the Carabao Cup last October and started the Champions League victories over Porto and AC Milan.
He made his full Premier League debut for Jurgen Klopp's men in the 2-2 draw at Tottenham in December and has made nine appearances in total for the Reds.
Rovers director of football Gregg Broughton said: "We have had to wait patiently for Tyler, as he has been so close to Liverpool's first team for the whole of pre-season, but after seeing what he did in some big games for Liverpool last year, we believe he was worth waiting for.
"We are very grateful to Liverpool for trusting us with the continued development of a player who is rated so highly at the club."
Chelsea are pushing hard towards a deal for £50million-rated Brighton wing-back Marc Cucurella, according to reports.
The Blues have long since been tracking Cucurella, who came through the Barcelona academy and impressed at Getafe before joining Brighton in 2021.
Brighton are understood to be holding firm on a £50million valuation for Cucurella, which is thought to have stalled a possible move to Manchester City.
Chelsea are continuing to reshape the squad under new owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, with manager Thomas Tuchel understood to remain keen on two further defensive recruits.
The Blues are also thought to harbour strong interest in Leicester's Wesley Fofana, though prising the France star away from the King Power Stadium outfit will prove a tough ask.
Cucurella is thought to be open to a Chelsea move, with the one-cap Spain star having already expressed his desire for a fresh challenge amid the extended Manchester City interest.
Chelsea have already pulled off big-name signings in Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly but are determined to add further new faces to the squad.
Kepa Arrizabalaga could yet head out in the other direction however, with Napoli understood to be continuing to push hard to strike a loan deal for the Spanish stopper.
New recruit Koulibaly will wear the 26 shirt at Chelsea this season, and has revealed he sought John Terry's assent to take the former England defender's number at the west London club.
Koulibaly posted a video on social media of his phone call to Terry, to ask for the ex-Chelsea captain's blessing to take the number he wore at Stamford Bridge with such distinction.
