Shamrock Rovers will play Ludogorets (Bulgaria) or Sutjeska (Montenegro) in the second round of Champions League qualifying, should they progress to that stage.

The Hoops were paired with Hibernians of Malta in the first round. That tie begins the first week of July.

Should they reach the second round, Rovers would be guaranteed at least a play-off for the Europa Conference League.

Ludogorets would be the most likely side to reach the second round from their tie, having featured in the group stages of the Europa League last season.

Linfield or The New Saints will play Bodo/Glimt or Norway or KÍ from the Faroe Islands.

St Patrick's Athletic will enter the second round draw of Conference League and have been paired with the winners of the tie between Sfintul Gheorghe (Moldova) and Mura (Slovenia).

Sligo Rovers have been handed another incentive to advance in the competition. If the Bit O' Red can overcome Bala Town from Wales, they'll face Scottish side Motherwell in a potential Irish-Scottish clash.

Meanwhile Derry City or Riga have been paired with Ružomberok (Slovakia) or Kauno Žalgiris (Lithuania).
