The second round of Covid-19 tests carried out on League of Ireland players and staff from four clubs have come back completely clear.
Last week, the first batch of testing on the Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers, Derry City and Bohemians panels also failed to produce a single positive result.
FAI Medical Director Dr Alan Byrne received the latest results today. All those tested have been informed of their negative result, and those four clubs can now prepare for a return to training on Monday, when they will undergo further testing.
A pilot tournament now looks likely for July involving last year's top four to help with their preparations for European football.
