Republic of Ireland U-19 manager Tom Mohan says his team will be concentrating only on themselves in their final group outing knowing victory is required to keep control of their destiny.
France are already through to the semi-finals, so it is between Norway, Ireland and Czech Republic to secure the second spot in Group B.
The Czechs – like Ireland on a point, one behind Norway – provide the opposition on Sunday (kick-off 6pm, live on RTE2) and Mohan says it is all about focusing on themselves for the game in Yerevan, Armenia.
"We have watched them play in their qualifying games and both of their Group games," he said.
"Our coaches and analysts have worked hard to provide us with all of the necessary information. We will have a game-plan in place and the players will be ready for this next challenge.
"We are fully aware of the potential scenarios in the Group, with Norway playing France in the other game, but we must concentrate on what we have to do against Czech Republic. There is still more to come from this team and we want to show that on Sunday night."
Mohan says he couldn't have asked any more from his players in the defeat to France, saying they were "unlucky" not to hang on for a draw.
The squad enjoyed a down day on Friday and used the free time to visit a local orphanage.
"It was a very humbling experience," Mohan said. "I cannot speak highly enough of the players for how they interacted with the kids, signed autographs, posed for photos, and handed out gifts. You could see how much it meant to the kids and the volunteers."
