Dylan Connolly has departed Dundalk and signed for English League One side AFC Wimbledon for an undisclosed fee.
The attacking midfielder has become manager Wally Downes' first signing at the south London club and Connolly will be eligible to play for his new club once international clearance is received.
The 23-year-old was previously on the books of Ipswich Town, before returning home to play for Bray Wanderers in the SSE Airtriticy League Premier Division before his form caught the eye of Stephen Kenny at Dundalk.
The former Ireland Under-21 international signed for the League of Ireland champions in June 2017 and played over 50 games for the Lilywhites, helping the Oriel Park side to a league and Cup double in 2018.
"Dylan epitomises what I think the club has been founded on, an appetite for success through hard work and endeavour," said Downes, who took over at the Kingsmeadow club in early December.
"He has the raw skills and desire, and we are going to give young players like Dylan the opportunity to enhance us as a club and offer them a chance to fulfil their potential."
Wimbledon are currently languishing at the foot of the League One table with 22 points from 26 games played.
