"What we have here is a failure to communicate". That's a phrase that gained prominence in the prison drama 'Cool Hand Luke'.

Indeed, it was a failure to communicate that lead to Bohemians' opening goal against Cork City at Dalymount Park on Friday evening. And for Cork's Damien Delaney, it was he who was at the centre of a calamitous own goal that set the Gypsies on their way.

Delaney, who rejoined Cork City during the summer after spells in England with Leicester City, Hull City, Queens Park Rangers, Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace, attempted a backpass to his goalkeeper Peter Cherrie.

It should have been a simple delivery but.....

In the end, Bohemians ran out 4-2 winners.
