Republic of Ireland Under-17s 2-0 Bosnia and Herzegovina
Troy Parrott was on target once again as the Republic of Ireland sealed a place in the quarter-finals of the UEFA European Under-17 Championships.
A draw would have been enough for Ireland, and the game looked to be heading that way, but Parrott’s curling effort in the 69th minute put Colin O'Brien's side on the way to another win. The striker also scored against Denmark on Tuesday.
Adam Idah sealed it with a second goal four minutes into added-time.
Ireland will play Netherlands on Monday in the quarter-finals.
The quarter-final will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player on Monday 14 May. (Kick-off TBC)
Darragh Maloney will be joined by Brian Kerr and Stephen McPhail for live coverage with Noel King alongside Stephen Alkin on commentary.
In the event of a draw after 80 minutes the tie will be decided by a penalty shoot-out with no extra-time to be played.
If Ireland are victorious against the Netherlands their semi-final tie on Thursday 17 May will also be live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player - kick-off 7.0pm - as will the final on Sunday 20 May should Ireland qualify.
