Everton have reported no fresh injury concerns following the international break.

Defenders Antolin Alcaraz (hernia) and Tony Hibbert (calf) are both available after long lay-offs but unlikely to be thrown straight into the Goodison Park clash.

Striker Arouna Kone (knee) and midfielder Darron Gibson (knee) are long-term casualties.

Captain Steven Gerrard is also playing through a hip problem but that will not be enough keep him out.

Arsenal v Southampton

Leaders Arsenal will have forward Theo Walcott back from two months out following abdominal surgery.

German defender Per Mertesacker, who scored at Wembley on Tuesday night, has recovered from a virus which ruled him out of the defeat at Manchester United, but midfielder Mathieu Flamini is suspended.

England midfielder Jack Wilshere has returned from international duty with no fresh fitness concerns. Yaya Sanogo (back), Lukas Podolski (hamstring), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Abou Diaby (both knee) all remain sidelined.

The 24-year-old midfielder has been unable to train properly for a week after badly twisting his ankle and will miss the trip to the Emirates Stadium, although it is unclear how much longer he faces out.

Guly do Prado is also absent after undergoing a knee operation, while Gaston Ramirez's fitness will be checked after arriving back from international duty with Uruguay on Friday lunchtime.

Fulham v Swansea

Fulham defender Brede Hangeland will miss Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash with Swansea because of a sciatic nerve problem.

Right-back Sascha Riether serves the second match of his three-game suspension while Damien Duff and Hugo Rodellega are out with groin problems.

Matthew Briggs is sidelined after undergoing a hernia operation, but 17-year-old French striker Moussa Dembele has been added to the squad as cover.

Garry Monk has undergone knee surgery but Ashley Williams has suffered no problems since his return from an ankle problem, while Michel Vorm is back having served a suspension against Stoke.

Hull v Crystal Palace

Hull goalkeeper Allan McGregor is expected to return after making a speedy recovery from a thigh injury.

Robbie Brady is also expected to return after a hernia problem, but fellow Irish midfielder Stephen Quinn is out after picking up a hamstring injury on international duty.

Robert Koren is available after a foot injury, while long-term absentee Sone Aluko (Achilles injury) is also missing.

Newcastle v Norwich

Newcastle defender Mathieu Debuchy will miss out due to suspension.

The France international, who helped his country reach the World Cup finals in midweek, will sit out after collecting his fifth booking of the season during the 1-0 win at Tottenham last time out.

Manager Alan Pardew otherwise has a full squad at his disposal with defenders Fabricio Coloccini (groin), Steven Taylor and Paul Dummett (both hamstring) and midfielder Jonas Gutierrez, who was given compassionate leave to deal with a personal issue, all back in training.

Captain Sebastien Bassong is hoping for a recall after being benched for the win over West Ham. Midfielders Alexander Tettey (ankle) and Elliott Bennett (knee) are both long-term absentees.

Stoke v Sunderland

Stoke have doubts over the fitness of Kenwyne Jones and Marc Wilson ahead of Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash with Sunderland at the Britannia Stadium.

On Friday afternoon, striker Jones had not returned from international duty, meaning Stoke had not had the chance to evaluate a shoulder problem he was reported to have picked up.

Full-back Wilson came back from the Republic of Ireland's two games with a stiff hip and manager Mark Hughes was waiting to see whether he would recover in time.

Winston Reid (ankle) could be fit and George McCartney (knee) is back in training, but Andy Carroll (heel), Mladen Petric (thigh), Matthew Taylor (thigh) and Alou Diarra (both knee) are absent.

Left-back Zeki Fryers and midfielder Nacer Chadli have recovered from their respective groin and hamstring troubles while Hugo Lloris is fit to return in goal.

The Dane has been sidelined for ten weeks since suffering the injury in the Capital One Cup tie against Accrington, but he featured for the Under-21s last week and is available to face the league champions.

Peter Odemwingie has been passed fit after returning from international duty with Nigeria, with Aron Gunnarsson is also in the squad after Iceland's World Cup play-off defeat to Croatia.

Michael Carrick (Achilles) and Phil Jones (groin) are definitely out, while Robin van Persie missed the Holland's recent matches with a long-standing toe problem and Marouane Fellaini has a wrist complaint that will eventually require surgery.
