Drogheda entertain Shelbourne in the Airtricity League Premier Division at Hunky Dorys Park on Monday night.

Drogheda’s Declan O'Brien is available for selection following his one match ban, while Alan McNally will miss out through suspension.

Drogs manager Mick Cooke said: “I was glad with the result on Friday night, but I felt that one of us needed to win to put pressure on Sligo Rovers and I can't really see them slipping up now, they don't have an easy run-in, but they should see the season out.

“We've beaten Shels twice this season, but that doesn't really count for anything, you just have to look to our cup win over Rovers to see how meaningless a stat like that is. They beat us three times this season.

“A lot of Alan Mathews side will be focused on playing themselves into the starting XI for the cup semi-final this weekend, so clearly they will be putting on a good display."

Shelbourne’s Anto Murphy will miss out due to his suspension, although Stephen Paisley is available again following his own suspension.

Philly Gorman returned his hip injury during the week and is likely to feature on Monday. Philly Hughes had not recovered 100% from a groin injury but it is hoped that he will be fit and included in the squad for the game.
