Hibernians have announced the signing of former Sligo Rovers striker Eoin Doyle.

The 23-year-old scored 25 times for the Bit O’ Red last season and becomes ex-Bohemians manager Pat Fenlon’s first signing since taking over at the Edinburgh club last month.

Doyle, who has previously played with Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers, has signed a contract until the end of the 2012/13 season.

The former Republic of Ireland youth international will not be available for his new club until the international transfer window opens in January.
