Australia's Neil Robertson defeated Judd Trump of England 4-1 in the Player Tour Championship 8 final at the Killarney Convention Centre, Killarney.
Robertson reached the final at the expense of Northern Ireland’s Mark Allen 4-3, while Trump saw off Mark Selby 4-1 in his semi.
Earlier in the day Dublin’s Ken Doherty was beaten 4-1 by Alan McManus in the last 16.
Doherty delighted the home crowd with three victories in the tournament but he was comfortably beaten by the Scot in the best of seven encounter.
