Green Dragon remains in third place in the second leg of the Volvo Ocean Race to Cochi in India.

After eight days at sea, Green Dragon is 29 nautical miles behind the Ericsson boats who are leading the fleet.

It is a difficult time for the navigators onboard as they try to find the best strategy as the fleet heads north. The strategy for Green Dragon appears to the working, as they have been making gains as they chase down the leading pair.

Spirits are high onboard Green Dragon as they head towards the Trade Winds, which could guarantee a quick ticket to the Doldrums.

Ian Walker and the crew are still steaming along at 17 knots, on starboard gybe to the northeast.
