The Guinness Pro14 fixtures for the new season have been unveiled, with defending champions Leinster heading to Cardiff in their first outing.
That clash with the Cardiff Blues will take place at the end of August before another trip to Wales for a Round 2 tie against Scarlets.
Their first home game will be against Bernard Jackman's Dragons on 15 September before facing into two consecutive interprovincial derbies in rounds five and six.
They will travel to the Sportsground in Galway for a showdown with Connacht followed by another intriguing tie against Munster in the Aviva Stadium.
Meanwhile, Munster will open their Pro14 campaign by welcoming the Toyota Cheetahs to Thomond Park on 1 September.
This will be followed by an away clash against Glasgow Warriors, a home game against Ospreys, and then a trip to Cardiff.
Their first fixture against a fellow Irish province will be against Ulster in Thomand Park at the end of September.
Ulster will kick-start their Pro14 season against Scarlets at Kingspan Stadium on 1 September.
They will then take on Edinburgh, Southern Kings and the Toyota Cheetahs before that crunch tie against Munster.
Newly appointed head coach Andy Friend will oversee Connacht's first two Pro14 games at home against Glasgow and Zebre respectively.
They will then head over to Murrayfield for a meeting with Edinburgh before two more home ties against Scarlets and Leinster before travelling to face Ulster in Round 6.
