Munster’s Jerry Flannery will miss Saturday's Heineken Cup clash with Benetton Treviso after sustaining a calf muscle tear in training on Wednesday.

A scan on Thursday revealed that Flannery could be out of action for up to four weeks because of the knock.

Munster are looking to recover from a hammering from Leinster in the Magners League and a narrow loss to Northampton in the opening game of the Heineken Cup.
