Bristol Rugby head coach Richard Hill today revealed that the club has signed of Brian O'Riordan from Leinster.

O'Riordan, aged 25, is a former Ireland U21 cap and has also represented Ireland A.

He has played 33 matches for Leinster in the Celtic League scoring three tries and has made 11 Heineken Cup appearances including his debut against Bristol at Donnybrook in 2002.

Hill claimed that O'Riordan was a 'powerful scrum half', and it was this that caught his eye.
