French 2000 Guineas winner Victor Ludorum heads a field of 17 declared for the Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly.

The Andre Fabre-trained colt, carrying the colours of Godolphin, aims for a Classic double last achieved by Brametot in 2017.

He will start form stall one on Sunday - while Fabre also saddles Ocean Atlantique as he goes for a fifth win in the race.

Ocean Atlantique staked his claim with victory in a Listed contest at Deauville, having previously finished second to Pao Alto in the Group Three Prix la Force at ParisLongchamp.

Pao Alto, trained by Christophe Ferland, is also in the line-up.

Aidan O'Brien is two-handed with Order Of Australia and Fort Myers.

Order Of Australia makes a quick reappearance after finishing fourth to stablemate Santiago in the Irish Derby last weekend. Fort Myers was unplaced in the Irish 2,000 Guineas.

John Gosden's Mishriff and Celtic Art, trained by Paul and Oliver Cole, are the two British raiders.

Among the home-based contingent are three from Fabrice Chappet - Gold Trip, San Fabrizio  and Pisanello  - and Jean-Claude Rouget's duo of Fantastic Spirit and Port Guillaume.

Coronation Stakes winner Alpine Star is among 12 fillies declared for the Prix de Diane.

The Jessica Harrington-trained half-sister to Alpha Centauri ran out an impressive winner at Royal Ascot on her seasonal debut, and now gets her chance in Classic.

Harrington's daughter and assistant Kate explained the decision to take Alpine Star to France.

"We didn't want to run Cayenne Pepper (the yard's Pretty Polly Stakes runner-up) against Alpine Star," she said.

"We want to look after Alpine Star - she prefers soft ground, even though she's proved she will adapt to anything."

Her rivals include Aidan O'Brien's Peaceful, who bids to double up after her victory in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

Donnacha O'Brien's Fancy Blue, who was beaten two lengths in second place by Peaceful, renews rivalry.

Others in the mix include French 1000 Guineas runner-up Speak Of The Devil, Jean-Claude Rouget's unbeaten Raabihah and Solsticia form Andre Fabre's stable.
