Kevin Prendergast ruled out any notion of Beach Belle travelling to Newmarket next month to compete in the Dubai Fillies' Mile.

The Kildare handler has yet to be convinced about the filly's levels of stamina after she finished well down the field in the Moyglare Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.

Beach Belle is now likely to be pitched into a weaker race instead of running in the Newmarket Group One on 17 October.

Prendergast said: "We were disappointed with her and, looking at the weekend, you'd say she didn't get seven (furlongs).

"They didn't go a good pace, either, but I think she'll be back. She's too good a filly not to come back.

"I don't think that (Fillies' Mile) is an option now.

"We'll lower her sights a bit and try to get her back on a winning track."
