Ireland's Scott Evans has been paired with reigning champion and favourite Lin Dan of China in a two-man group in the Olympics men's badminton singles.
It's a tough task for Evans, ranked 76th in the world, as he must beat Dan in order to progress to the last 16.
The Irish player exited the Beijing Olympics in the first round.
The draw was kinder to Chloe Magee as she was drawn alongside 16th seed Pi Hongyan of France and world number 113 Hadia Hosny in her group. Donegal native Magee is currently ranked 44th in the world.
