Three more athletes have tested positive for banned substances at this year's Olympic Games. Johann Muehlegg, a German representing Spain, Russia's Larissa Lazutina and Olga Danilova also of Russia all tested positive for darbepoetin, a substance, which develops abnormal amounts of red blood cells.

Muehlegg, had already won gold medals in the men's 10km combined and 30km freestyle and tested negative after those races but went on to test positive after the 50km race on Saturday. Lazutina tested positive for the same substance after winning the 30km classical yesterday, while her team-mate Danilova also tested positive.
