Korean duo Inbee Park and Jin Young Ko jointly hold the lead the Shoprite LPGA Classic in New Jersey after both shooting rounds of 65.

Seven-time major winner Park shot to the top of the leaderboard with seven birdies in her second round, with only one bogey blighting the card.

Ko, winner of two majors in 2019, didn't even register a blemish on her card, six birdies helping her to join her compatriot on top of the standings.

Ireland's Leona Maguire is six strokes off the lead after carding a topsy turvy round of 70, containing four birdies and three bogeys, lifting her to five under par for the championship. That leaves the Solheim Cup star in a tie for 16th heading into the third and final round.

It was a disappointing second round for Stephanie Meadow who slumped to a three over par round of 74 and fell the wrong side of the cut-line on one over par for the tournament.
