The Allianz Hurling League semi-finals will be held as a double-header at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on Sunday 20 April.

Kilkenny will play Galway at 2pm and Tipperary meet Clare at 4pm.

The winners will meet in the final on Sunday, 4 May. 

The Cats progressed to the semi finals with a strong second half performance against Wexford yesterday, winning on a final score of  4-22 to 2-16.

They will play Galway in the first semi final. Galway secured their spot with a 1-20 to 1-12 victory over Limerick.

In Thurles, Tipperary and Cork played out a high scoring classic at Semple Stadium. John O'Dwyer scored a total of 1-07 for Tipp who held on to win by 3-25 to 4-19.

All-Ireland champions Clare will be Tipperary's opponents in the second semi-final. The Banner had to deal with a strong performance by Laois in Portlaoise but had enough to hold out on a 2-23 to 2-19 scoreline
