Reigning Connacht FBD League champions Leitrim will face Roscommon in next weekend's final following the last round of group stage matches.
Leitrim had to work hard to earn a valuable league point in their 1-12 to 2-9 draw with Sligo in Ballinamore.
First-half goals from Niall Murphy and Adrian Marren helped the visitors to a 2-07 to 0-07 interval lead, with Pat Flanagan's men causing huge problems for the Leitrim defence.
However, Gerry Hagan's side hit back after the restart with points from Emlyn Mulligan and Darren Sweeney, plus a Tomás Beirne goal, earning a draw.
Roscommon booked their place in the decider thanks to a 1-10 to 1-08 win over Mayo at Ballinlough.
Trailing by 0-06 to 0-03 at the break, Roscommon tied the game on the restart thanks to a well-worked goal.
Mayo responded with a fortunate Adam Gallagher green flag soon after but the hosts finished strongly with five consecutive points to prevail by two.
Meanwhile, Galway recorded a 0-13 to 0-06 win over GMIT at Tuam Stadium.
Alan Mulholland’s team impressed throughout and led by 0-07 to 0-03 at the interval.
Late in the game, the Tribesmen were reduced to 14-men following a black card for Mark Hehir, but having used all of their substitutes they were unable to replace him.
It mattered little, however, as they held out for a comfortable seven-point win.
Elsewhere, IT Sligo were 1-13 to 0-08 winners over NUIG in their clash at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence,
