Two-time All-Star Joe Quaid has been appointed Kildare intermediate camogie manager.

Quaid has previously managed the Kildare hurling team, guiding them to a Christy Ring Cup title in 2018.

He also served as boss of the Westmeath hurlers, gaining league promotion in his time there.

The Limerick man was in charge of a number of underage set-ups in his native county, as well as also enjoying success with Limerick camogie teams.

Accompanying Quaid as head coach is another man with plenty of camogie experience, Mike Wall.

Wall has managed and coached Kilkenny minor and intermediate teams to All-Ireland success, and enjoyed a stint in charge of Offaly's camogie side. His most recent appointment saw him lead the Kilkenny minor team to an All-Ireland victory in 2021.
