Round two of the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers will be a double header at Thurles this weekend, with the Cork and Limerick footballers also in action on a bumper day of action at Semple Stadium.

In this morning’s draw, Clare were pitted against Limerick, while Cork and Wexford will do battle for a place in the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

The GAA has confirmed that the Rebels will face the Model County at 5pm, with the Munster duel between Clare and Limerick throwing in at 7pm, with both games to be covered live by Sky Sports.

The last time that Limerick and Clare met, it was the Banner who came out on top, claiming a 1-19 to 0-18 victory in their Division 1A league promotion battle at Cusack Park in March.

Cork and Wexford also met in the qualifiers last year, when the Munster men were eight-point winners at Wexford Park.

The winners of those will progress to face the provincial losers in Munster (either Waterford or Tipperary) and Leinster (Galway).

Supporters of Cork and Limerick will be encouraged to get to the venue early with the football qualifier between the two counties taking place at 3pm.

Elsewhere, RTÉ will have live coverage of Mayo v Fermanagh on a busy day of action in the the qualifiers.

The dethroned Connacht champions have been licking their wounds since the defeat to Galway in the provincial semi-final and will face the Erne County at 3.30pm in Castlebar with Joe McQuillan taking charge.

Derry will host Meath at Owenbeg (2.30pm), while Carlow will travel to Breffni Park to face Cavan (5pm).

Kildare host Offaly at Newbridge (6.30pm) and Monaghan will look to get their campaign back on track after their Ulster semi-final defeat to Donegal when they entertain Longford at Clones (6pm).
