Paidi O Se has named an unchanged side for Kerry’s Munster final meeting with Clare in Limerick on Sunday. Killian Burns, Donal Daly and Johnny Crowley retain their places despite being taken off in the win over Cork. Maurice Fitzgerald and Mike Hassett can consider themselves unlucky after performing well when they came on in Killarney.
Hassett in particular played well when he replaced Burns to counteract the effect Colin Corkery was having, while Fitzgerald replaced Daly in midfield and had a steadying influence as Kerry defended their lead in the face of a determined Cork onslaught.
Seamus Moynihan will again man the full-back position that has being causing Paidi O Se’s men trouble since Barry O Shea was forced out of the Championship with a knee injury.
Kerry’s only injury is to substitute Johnny Mc Glynn, who chipped a bone in his ankle last weekend. The Currow man has been replaced on the substitutes bench by Mossie Lyons of Castleisland Desmonds.
Clare delayed naming their team until this evening, but with no injury worries Tommy Curtin has a full panel to pick from.
