Cork boss Conor Counihan has made six changes to his side for Saturday’s Qualifier clash with Galway at Croke Park (throw-in 5pm).

The Rebels were beaten by Kerry in the Munster decider and the Cork boss has made extensive changes for their must-win clash with the Tribesmen.

Ken O'Halloran, Noel O'Leary, Paudie Kissane, Fintan Goold, Paul Kerrigan and Donncha O'Connor have all been dropped from the starting XV.

There has also been some positional changes within the side as Damien Cahalane is pushed into the half-back line to make way for Thomas Clancy from Clonakilty who steps into the left corner back position.

Graham Canty also moves into the half-back line, while midfield partner for the Kerry clash Aidan Walsh is moved forward and the Rebels’ new-look midfield consists of Alan O'Connor from St Colum’s and Aghada’s Pearse O'Neill.

Mark Collins from Castlehaven and Eire Óg’s Ciarán Sheehan come in to the Cork attack, while Valley Rovers’ Alan Quirke will start in goal for Cork.
