Graham Canty will captain the Cork footballers from full-back in the Munster final against Kerry on Sunday but Paul Galvin has again missed out on a place in the Kingdom's matchday squad.

Cork boss Conor Counihan has made three changes to personnel and reshaped his defence, which will have to cope with the aerial threat of Kerry star Kieran Donaghy, who has been named at full-forward by Jack O'Connor.

Bantry man Canty has been named in the number three jersey with dual star Eoin Cadogan, who started at corner back in the semi-final win over Clare, dropping to the bench.

Jamie O'Sullivan replaces Eoin Cotter at corner back, with Michael Shields continuing in the other corner.

Noel O'Leary replaces Canty in the half-back line, where he started against Clare, with John Miskella selected at centre-back. Paudie Kissane will start at left half-back.

Up front, Pearse O’Neill is drafted in at left half-forward in place of Fiachra Lynch in the only change to an attacking unit that again includes star duo Donncha O'Connor and Daniel Goulding.

Kerry are unchanged from their semi-final victory over Limerick with Galvin missing out after failing to recover from a hamstring injury.

Eoin Brosnan continues at wing-back with Colm Cooper, Declan O'Sullivan and Donaghy the key men in a dangerous looking forward division.
